Environmental Defenders' Office (ACT)

Part of text from the Environmental Defenders' Office (ACT)

The Government is currently conducting an inquiry into the tax deductibility status of environmental organisations. Every organisation working to protect and preserve our environment, including the Environmental Defenders Office, could have its tax deductibility status stripped away.

With your support, we can continue defending and strengthening important environmental protections and ensure they are enforced in the most effective way possible.

Support EDO ACT by making a tax-deductible donation of $45 (while you still can).

EDO ACT's aims are simple: providing access to justice to anyone in the community who requires free expert advice, education and support to protect their local precious places.

We have been defending the environment for 20 years, but there are new threats every day. Together, we can help keep it safe.

Camilla Taylor
Principal Solicitor - EDO ACT

This issue affects the Ginninderra Falls Association as we also have tax exempt status but more importantly we will soon need to rely heavily on the expertise of the Environmental Defenders' Office to understand the complexity of Riverview's Parkwood proposal.

I noted three important events last newsletter. We did go but please be patient and I will provide an update shortly.

Cheers,

Darryl Seto
(for the Ginninderra Falls Committee)
