Hi all
Just a reminder about the Autumn forum next Sunday at Brindabella Hills Winery.
Mr Maxwell has advised us that Riverview will be submitting their development applications to the ACT and Yass governments in the next two months so now is the time for us to look in much more detail at park boundaries, infrastructure development and the management of the Murrumbidgee - Ginninderra Gorges National Park.
Of course we already have had many informal conversations about these issues but we propose to have a half-hour session on Sunday to kick-start developing a formal position from our Association. As an example of a management option, many have noted how public trusts can be used to manage public places. One good example of using a trust structure is The Australian Botanic Garden, Mount Annan.
Please come along on Sunday with all your ideas. There is no dispute over the public value of this area and now, with the opportunity provided by Riverview's proposal and support, we finally have the opportunity to re-establish public access and to put in place a long-term management structure.
Cheers,
Darryl Seto

What is this 'August' meeting?
<p>Yes I was just a tad bit stupid. I meant to write ‘Autumn’ not ‘August’. I was not in a hurry and certainly checked the text before it went out which makes me look even more foolish.</p>
<p>Love to see you at the Brindabella Hills Winery next Sunday, 23 March from 2 – 4PM.</p>
