As mentioned on Tuesday, the community consultation process has commenced for the Parkwood Planning Proposal on the NSW part of the cross border Ginninderry development.
You can use the Yass Valley Council's Public Consultation online submission or you can use an online submission which we have added to our website.
After years of academic research and public consultations, we are still left with a 'develop everywhere possible' mentality putting only steep slopes into a conservation reserve.
This is not enough to protect erosion from urban water run-off; not enough protection from pyrogenic winds; not enough foraging space for species like the Rosenberg Monitor. It is not even enough for tourists to enjoy what's left.
Cheers,
Darryl Seto
